Mount Hope High School - Proficiency-Based Digital Portfolio Graduation Requirements
"During the freshman year, each student will be assigned a login name and
password to create his/her own personal digital portfolio. During the years at
Mt. Hope, each student will be provided opportunities in all courses to create
proficient artifacts for the portfolio. It is the student's responsibility to complete
assigned tasks, which may become artifacts in the portfolio. It is also each
student's responsibility to enter these tasks into his/her portfolio. If there are
technical problems or other extenuating circumstances that prevent completion
of an entry into the graduation digital portfolio, the student should seek out a
solution to the problem. Faculty are available to provide guidance. Ultimately,
the student must have a complete portfolio demonstrating proficiency in
Mt. Hope's proficiency-based graduation requirements (PBGRs). Mt. Hope
provides the resources and support necessary for successful portfolio
completion and exhibition."

Eagle Rock School - Colorado
"Eagle Rock’s mission is stated in two sentences, one pertaining to work with young people and the other to work with educators: An Eagle Rock student has the desire and is prepared to make a difference in the world. Eagle Rock has a positive effect on schools in the United States.
Eagle Rock is a value-driven school. A fundamental philosophy, “Eight Plus Five Equals Ten,” has animated the school for more than a dozen years. The eight themes, five expectations, and ten commitments shape daily living; they are the source and purpose of ongoing conversations."
